That's why I linked to the news report. Unfortunately with the upcoming SDK 2.0, it is not possible to run this "officially" as a background process, which is inevitable for instant messaging. I would certainly use the none "standard conform" version, but it would be just nice, if something like that could be made available as an official software package from apples upcoming software store.
